does anyone know of a .223 bullet around 50 grains that has a BC over .250 that i dont have to wait till January to get my hands on? or should i just use bergers? any help is appreciated

I would definitely try Bergers , Sierra and Hornady. If your gun don't shoot one of these, sell it.

highest bc of polymer tip bullets Sie Blitz King (.248)

im thinking bergers. i dont think i need a super nice bullet anyway. my gun is still bone stock, shoots very well but i dont think i need to use full on match grade rounds for it to reach its full potential right now.

but a high BC would be nice since im trying to strech a 1-14 .223 out to 500yds

swampy at JLK told me hes not running the 52 grainers till january.

sorry if i sounded like i was talking down about bergers. i know they are a dang good bullet. i was just hoping to use something with a slightly higher BC. heck i got a 1.2XX from 400 with a factory rifle using bergers. they must be good.

Travis,

Correction: I wrote to you in an e-mail, "At this time I do not have a definite production date for the 52's. It will most likely be some time before Jan 1. "

That's most likely a bit pessimistic as well.
