Firing pin strikes the edge? of the hole

I finally disassembled the Mauser bolt (Yes, this is BR, but one from the 1950's). The firing pin is polished brightly over 100-120 degrees it's last 2mm, still with tooling marks the rest of its circumference. I KNOW what I've seen on the target, but what would one expect from such a condition? There being no Mauser firing pins for sale, it seems, what can I do?

is truly centered in the bolt face, then check that the firing pin has minimal clearance in the shroud, so it starts it's travel straight, check that the firing pin is straight, straighten if not, or have a competent machinist make you a new firing pin.
