Colorado is renowned for having over 300 sunny days a year. Well the intrepid shooters that battled rain and muddy roads to get to CRC for our two day State Championship never saw their shadow all weekend. In fact, we all huddled on Sunday morning and decided to cancel the second day's shooting. It was just too ugly. Jim Brummerstedt summed it up well: "Ok guys what was worse? Shooting in rain Saturday or Trying to get to hard pavement Sunday?
Either way thanks to all for hanging in there and all your assistance."

As you can see in the attached picture, Bryan Kopriva collected most of the trophies with some great shooting under difficult conditions. It was often hard to see the targets in the rain and ground fog...very interesting. Daryl Kopriva might have given brother Bryan some tough competition if his first HG small group had been on the paper, he followed it with a perfect 100 and a 98 score. It is also noteworthy that Ray Prager shot a 6" group with his long range pistol. He continues to get better with each match.
