colombo barrel

Anybody know anything about Colombo barrels? I saw a 6mm BR built on a rem 700 action, a synthetic stock with a remington pad and a SS fluted barrel with 6mm BR and Colombo stamped on the barrel

Quite possiable it's the gun smith/gun builder.....Never heard of Colombo barrels....?

Could also be the owners name ...?

Ah... Sir... Just one more question if you wouldn't mind... You see I had this thought as I was walking away and I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.....
 
I would bet the Colombo on the barrel indicates that Marty Colombo from Pine Bush NY Chambered and fit the barrel to the rifle. His phone number is in the book, but I think he is in Florida fishing at the moment. Marty had his own Machine Shop and did Barrel work as well.
