You will want to be around .0002 under bore dia. Make sure you check the fit at the throat area. A grizzly rod works great for checking fit that far up in the bbl. If your pre-boring, your reamer will reach far enough to check the pilot fit.
Most of the 6.5's (Krieger) I do usually take a .2556-.2558 bushing. I have had a few take .256-.2562 however.
If you do a good job of indicating everything in and the pre-bore is true to the throat the pilot fit isn't that big of a deal. You just don't want it dragging on the bore.
