Hi , looking for heads up on which size reamer bushing I should have for a .264" cal barrel.

Thanks to all in advance,

Very true

Your bushing size for a chambering reamer is determined by the actual bore size of your barrel.

You will want to be around .0002 under bore dia. Make sure you check the fit at the throat area. A grizzly rod works great for checking fit that far up in the bbl. If your pre-boring, your reamer will reach far enough to check the pilot fit.

Most of the 6.5's (Krieger) I do usually take a .2556-.2558 bushing. I have had a few take .256-.2562 however.

If you do a good job of indicating everything in and the pre-bore is true to the throat the pilot fit isn't that big of a deal. You just don't want it dragging on the bore.
