Box/rack (?) for truck bed to carry rests etc.

Does anyone have a simple design or even a commercial box for carrying some equipment to range? I'm thinking a box to strap in and carry rests, sand bags, etc. so they don't fly around. Basically heavier items, not guns.
For me, I would need to put it in when I go to range so not thinking anything permanent or even semi. Do you have lock-downs for rests? I currently have separate front/back rests but, will probably buy one piece again one day.

Thanks,
Regis

Not sure if they make what you have in mind or not, but Weatherguard makes premium quality truck boxes, of different sizes and shapes. They're not cheap, but you only buy them once.

I use a Pelican case for my Farley and rear bag. It has that pluck foam so it was easy to figure out. I use a SKB for my Pappas rest. You have to take the bag top off but thats easy to do. All my other stuff is in rubbermade style bins with the little flaps that lock the tops on.

I have found large tool boxes at my local building supply store with wheels and an extension handle. If you find one with a large enough space for your rest and sand bags, a piece of plywood cut to fit the bottom and covered with carpet strengthens the box and keeps things from sliding around. I have a non slip liner in my truck bed and a 2 X 6 board fits into slots in the liner to further keep stuff from sliding to the front if you need to brake hard.

I use a medium sized ice cooler. Mine has wheels on one end and a handle on the other. Just find one large enough for your gear. I made a separator (false floor with legs) to act as a shelf and put the rests in the bottom, install shelf, and then put ammo, towels and other stuff on the top. Just wheel it to the truck and put in the bed. I use eye-hooks and motorcycles tie-down straps to keep it in place. No sliding to the front when you hit the brakes. They're robust and waterproof and can keep a cool drink cool if you need it. Keeps things dry while driving to/from the range

I'm going with MislMan on this one. It would be great to have something fancy but it comes down to safe and dry. Get a big cooler or two smaller ones and figure out how to keep it/them from sliding around.

I think this is best solution for me. I particularly like that false floor idea to put more in in an orderly manner.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
