Barrel Reaming

I recently got a larger lathe and need help with barrel reaming. What is the best method if the spindle is 30" front to back. This is a 14 1/2" south bend.

Spindle bushing

Jackie what is the fit tolerance OD of the bushing you put on the muzzle end of your barrel? Robbie

The ID of the ring on the barrel is what I call "metal to metal", The OD has about .001 in the trued hole in the lathe spindle.........jackie
