A grand day for shooting with 66 degrees and a strong switchy head wind that was good for a one ring error. The two high scorer's for 2016 and the receivers of the coveted ARC coffee cup were, VFS, Jackie Schmidt with a 250/22X (second award), and Charlie Kirkpatrick, Hunter, with a 250/15X (second award).

Still looking for a match director replacement. Hope someone will step up.

Kirk and I started bench rest about the same time in early 80s shooting factory hunter. He is an overall great guy.
 
Jackie, congratulations on that 2nd cup and the club record tying score that earned it.
Virg, thanks for the great service through all the years as Match Director.
Clarification requested: was the winning score as posted for THIS match correct or was that Jackie's great cup-winning score?

Jackie's score listed was for this match. So...you guys will have to beat 250/22X again. And...you can tell from the other scores that it wasn't an easy accomplishment.

Oh...I will stay on as match director until we can find a replacement. I will be a "fair weather" match director, so check this site out the Saturday morning before the match for a cancellation notice. If there is a chance of rain over 20%, I will cancel the match.:rolleyes:
