RWS R-50 runs $15
SK and wolf ammo was the same price $6.50 amd $4.25

Are these good prices?

Its my ammo.....

lion,

So your saying that in less then 2 months of being on this forum and searching the web for BR grade ammo I have come across the best pricing one can find.......I find this hard to believe. I have done a good bit of looking but cant help to wonder if the main stream of avid to very competitive BR shooters are just unwilling to give out there " BEST " ammo buying info. In fear of loosing out themselves. I hope this is not true.

Aint no secrets. They advertise here. Dan Killough or Bob Collins for eley and Charlie Scott for Lapua.

Are there prices any better then what I posted ?
Or do they just keep better trak or things like .....
Mech. #'s and Lot #'s

Do you have any contact info for bob collins and charlie scott ?

Charlie's number is 913-649-7658. I have found Charlie and Dan have the best prices and stocking policy. The problem with comparing prices is that each shipment comes with a different cost. Some people may have lower prices because they have old ammo. Several years ago there was some Lapua offered at a great price only to find out it was several years old and from a batch that absolutely would not shoot. The vendor was new and did not even know he had bad ammo.

foosurdaddy- Eley match will cost you an additional 50 cents more a box. The prices are correct. I don't know of anything cheaper . The prices for eley will continue to go up and up until you get tired of paying so much for a box . I have had enough. I will shoot what I have and then Im done. You rich boys can have it.

What took you so long?

I quit shooting .22 benchrest over two years ago because of the rising costs. (gas, motels, and especially ammo) I would have loved to win just one class target in the years that I shot IR50/50. The closest I got was fifth with a 248 12X. I just didn't have the time or money that is would take to get those 2 points to be competitive. I still have my Suhl and shoot it once in a while. I'd sell it if I could get my money out of it, but I don't see that happening. I do miss the friends I made over the years, but life goes on. AL W.
