The failure of the mental health community in Connecticut has provided the Country with another tragic example of the results of "mainstreaming" of those who need our help. It has also given an opportunity for those who have worked for "gun control" (read people control) for years to again demonize those firearm owners who legally and responsibly own and use firearms. The Second Amendment was written by men who had risked their fortunes and lives to resist an imperial force and has served well for over 230 years to moderate an over-reaching government.
When new firearms regulations are considered, please reflect on how many laws have already been ignored by the perpetrators of these malevolent acts and by those who would further restrict those who work to build this country.
