lets try education rather than restriction.
when was the last time you heard of a mass shooting at an high school or grade school in ISRAEL ??

probably never.

they are rasied with guns from early childhood. they are part of everyday life, yet you do not hear of the shootings like we have here.

if it was known that there were loaded guns, and people who knew how to use them.....everywhere......do you think someone would tried an armed attack ??

no....people who do these things want targets..unarmed targets...................

i would be willing to bet that most parents teach/talk to thier kids..about drugs, smoking, alcohol, unsafe driving.......why not add gun education to the process ??
you do not hide from the others so why hide from guns ???

again it is not the gun, it is the user...

Some of you will get this, some won't, but here goes.....another stretched alinwagorism.

First, thank you mike, I agree, in fact I know me some Jews.... REAL Jews. ("Israelite" isn't necessarily Jew, in fact some of the Jews I know consider the nation of Israel to be an abomination.)

But enough of that, on to my point.

I was visiting with a Jewish gentleman regarding "Christianity VS Judaism," a fun topic in the right circumstances. We were talking about "Law and Gospel" and he brought up an interesting point. I was arguing that it's more important to learn "why" than to memorize rules and he disagreed. He said they TRAIN their kids BY ROTE/REPETITION to handle money, to honor laws, to follow rules regardless of what they "feel."

I, of course, being an "American Apologist" argued that "we need bright, capable young minds thinking and acting societally." and blahh blahh blahhh... (I AM a closet liberal :) I dream sometimes....)

He disagreed saying, "it's better that children do the right thing for the wrong reasons than that they do the wrong thing for the right reasons."

To support his argument he asked me this question, "how many Jewish kids do you see in prison?"

Wa'BAMMMM!

To quote my buddy Jesse, "Ya' cain't argue with the facts!"
