7.6 Creedmoor

I see the ammo manufacturers have come up with a “new” cartridge, the 7.6 Creedmoor. It is so close to the 308 Win that they are interchangeable in the rifle, making me wonder what is the point? I guess someone won’t be happy until we are all shooting something called a Creedmoor. Hmm. 30BCreedmoor?

That gem

That just wouldn’t be right.

is covered in a bulletin on accurateshooter.com. 51.18mm case length. It can be shot in the .308 Win chambered rifles. I guess its the real thing A capitalization on the name I guess.
