I just got a Rem. 700 6x47 I DON"T KNOW WHAT DIES TO GET. I got a box of 6.5x47 brass what all do I need? Thanks Johnnie

I have a 6X47mm Lapua with a .272" no turn neck. I bought the Forster Ultra 2-Die Set (full length die and micrometer seater die) #U04180 and the Redding Type S Bushing Neck Sizer Die #71489 and Titanium Nitride bushings .267-.269". I've been satisfied with them. - nhk

OK I'll bite, what on earth are you going to do with that Johnnie?
A Remingtong 700 huuuummmmmm, I think they make dies for necking down but I KNOW NOTHING. Good luck.

I have the same set of Forester dies as nhk. Just run the 6.5 L case through the FL sizer and it is ready to load. My FL size die fits my chamber so well I never bothered to get a bushing die. Good shooting! Vic

I have a redding FL sizing die with bushing- .288 for the no turn 6.5 X 47 and use
a wilson for seating. Probably over 25 firings per case with no problems. Why use 3
dies when 2 will work. I may have jumped to the conclussion that this
is on a Lapua case. If you have the old 6 X 47 on the 222 mag case
, you have a different animal here.
