Sorry guys. I think I got it posted correctly now. My trigger finger on the mouse was the problem. ;)

Which would be the better choice with a 8 twist 26" barrel for shooting from 100 yards out to 600 yards accuracy wise?

Accuracy is the same. 6br would be easier, you avoid the fire forming process. 105s at 2900 fps gives you plenty to fight the wind and gravity.

I don't think it is that no one has an opinion but that it is really hard to back our opinions with hard data as proof that our opinions are correct. Both the 6 BR Norma and the 6 BRX are inherrently accurate. That the 6 BR Norma is the parent cartridge for the 6 BRX, 6 Dasher , 6 BRDX etc. shows that it is accurate cartridge. The improved 6 BR's like the 6 BRx you are tryng to keep the same accuracy but gain 200 to 300 fps more velocity over the parent cartridge. There are just to many factors that effect accuracy to say one is more accurate than the other. In my opinion you will not be dissapointed with either.

The reason I asked is because the gunsmith is going to start on my Brux barrel blank tomorrow and he said that he could do either one I wanted.

Thanks for the answers guys. :) When I get it back I will post some pictures of the rifle before and after I paint it. The first picture bellow is the start of the build. :)

All I can add is I went with a standard 6BR "just because" that was the reamer my smith had, with a 0.269ND for minimal turning. I am loading some test rounds now. It is a BAT B with a Krieger barrel, 8" TW to shoot 87 VMAX for varmint. I have some 108 BIB's to try for 600/1000 yard but I am not sure I can seat them and not have significant jam into the lands. It was chambered for the 107 SIE and 105 AMAX.

What stock is that? Looks nice.
