Tried a search sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.

Looks like the 6.5x47 is doing much better in 600 yard shooting that the Creedmoor, while the Creedmoor rules the roost in PRS.

Thoughts on why this is the case?

Pros/cons to either round?

Thanks, Matt.

I own a Creedmoor and I don't know much about the 6.5x47 Lapua so I did a Google search and came up with this:

This issue has sparked almost countless responses both ways and other posters jumping to the support of 260 Rem, 260AI and 6.5X55. They are all good rounds. I got on the 6.5 Creedmoor bandwagon early on and don't regret it. I elected to rebarrel in the same cartridge as I didn't want to go to the expense of buying new dies for no gain in accuracy. Take your pick and get a quality action, barrel, and trigger and practice, practice, practice. Now let the flames begin.
