.264, .2645, .265 Carbide bushings

Is it possible to get these?????????????

I am going with 3 thou total neck clearance and would like the above bushings if available. If not will just have to stay with Redding............

.269 neck reamer with brass turned to loaded round of .266

Calvin, I looked up LE Wilson.com and Redding to see what they offered. They have the Steel bushings from .185"Φ to .367"Φ or .368"Φ hardened to Rc 60-62. Redding also has the Titanium Nitride coating available. Sinclair has some Carbide bushings available but not in the size you want (.2570" - .2595"). If you have to have something in carbide let me know and I'll get you a manufacturer who can do what you want.
If I remember correctly the Wilson has a 7° taper and the Redding's is bored straight. The carbide would cost less if bored straight.

Centerfire, I can probably get away with just using standard bushing but something tells me to go carbide. I figure if I turn my .269 neck to either .266 or .267 loaded round, bushings from .264 to .266 will cover that. I just am not sure if the 1/2 thou are needed. I figured it would be a nice 5 bushing set that those who are shooting .269 necks could use.

I have a call into Bud Mundy and a call in to Yillik Carbide in California. The more sets from Yillik the cheaper the bushings become.

Thanks for the info though. May I ask who you had in mind for the bushings? Pm if you do not want to post on the board.

Carbide Bushes

I have carbide bushes available in sizes from .2635 to .2670 in half thou steps.
I'm in Australia but the postage is minimal although the current exchange rate may be an issue.

I have a few carbide bushings left from when I was having them made. Most are in the 22 cal size left. .260 maybe in 6mm, and a few 30 cal. sizes. I can check Monday after returning home from the Super Shoot. I had to commit to 1000 pieces to get a decent price.
