does anybody use the 208 amax if so what is a good seating depth

He probably means seating depth in relation to the lands.

in which case, i use zero...just touching.
300 win mag, 2950 fps, lo 3's at 200 yds.
i have been told by more experienced long range shooters that the small group at 200 does not translate to 1000 yd performance as their performance degenerates quicker down range.

It may not be optimum in your rifle but .005" normally shoots very well, in fact you can get most A-max bullets to shoot well with a .005" jump.
