2017 PSL Season
We have the schedule posted for the 2017 season and we will have a few changes for the upcoming year. The Shotmaster 10X Winter Shoot Out will be held in conjunction with the ARA Indoor National Tournament at the Rocky River Barn. We will move the date of this event back to the original Indoor National Tournament weekend which is the first weekend of December. We will have 3 PSL matches for sure and will possibly add a 4th match.
The Main Event
We are changing the PSL series championship for 2017. We will no longer keep points for the entire year but each PSL event will serve as a qualifier for the PSL Main Event to be held on Friday Sept. 1 at 7:00pm at BRC of St Louis. To qualify for the Main Event you will need to finish in the top 10 or tie for 10th at any of the PSL matches. Competitors may only qualify one time per season. The Main Event will consist of a 3 target match with the overall winner receiving $2500, 2nd wins $1500, and 3rd wins $1000. The qualifiers for the Main Event will compete side by side in the middle of the range without rotating and it will be 1 relay. The Main Event will not have an entry fee and only those that qualify will be able to participate and will only pay out to the top 3 overall finishers.
Rotating for PSL Matches
We will rotate 1 time after the 3rd target for the outdoor events. We will rotate after every target for the indoor events. This will reduce the amount of time needed for the match and will make the day much easier for our competitors.
Payouts for PSL Matches
For all of the matches other than the Main Event, if we have 49 competitors or less, we will payout to the top 5 overall positions and to each target winner. If we have 50+ competitors, we will pay out to the top 10 overall positions and to each target winner.
2017 PSL Schedule is
12-2-2016 Shotmaster 10X Winter Shoot Out at Rocky River Barn
5-26-2017 Stiller Precision Bench Rest Brawl at Kettlefoot Gun Club
9-1-2017 Shilen Challenge at BRC of St. Louis
Thank you all for your support. We we look forward to another great year for the PSL.
