1/4 or 1/8 MOA clicks?

I've got a Tikka T3 Sporter in .308 which currently wears a Vortex Razor HD 5-20. I'm really considering selling the Razor as I could buy 2 Siii's for what I get out of the razor. This rifle is becoming more of a paper puncher and I don't need the ruggedness of the Razor, it's kind of overkill and with weaker magnification and a thicker reticle than I would prefer. I have a new 6mm Fat Rat AR that will become my tactical fun gun/ steel ringer.

I've always used 1/4 moa clicks but can see the advantage of finer clicks at long range. Are there any disadvantages in a paper punching environment?

Or twice as precise clicks. Guess you just gotta choose huh. Guess I'm just seeing if there's a consensus of what you guys prefer.

At 600 yards, one click on a 1/4 moa scope is 1.5 inches on the target. sometimes not as precise an adjustment as you would like.
