Can anybody recommend a good "accurizing 101" source?

"The Forbidden Zone"? Sounds either ominous, intriguing, or maybe a combo of both.

Can anybody recommend a good "accurizing 101" source?

I'm in Sioux Falls, S.D., and have been speaking with Al Nyus, as the range he helps to run is only about 5 minutes from my house. So I'm hoping that will work out for me, as it's a benchrest club and there should be some shooters I can link up with for more specific learning. It's also a...

Can anybody recommend a good "accurizing 101" source?

Unfortunately, you've managed to be nothing but rude and condescending. I came here as an admitted beginner, and asked a simple question about where I can find some information. I'm not sure what I've done here to offend your awfully thin skin, but would you kindly take yourself out of this...

Can anybody recommend a good "accurizing 101" source?

I appreciate the sentiment, but the technical aspect of building and tweaking is one of the big draws for me, almost as much as the shooting side. I totally get that it's a fools errand, and won't win me any competitions. But I enjoy the hell out of tinkering and learning, so it's still...

Can anybody recommend a good "accurizing 101" source?

I know it's probably a dumb question, but can anybody suggest a good starting point for somebody that is somewhat handy and wants to start working on accurizing a rifle for benchrest shooting? Anybody have a favorite website or youtube channel, and I'm definitely not against buying some books...

New member from Sioux Falls saying hello

RG, I have been in contact with Al. He's in the middle of a busy streak but hopefully we can work it so I can get more acquainted with the Dakota Benchrest range. That would be fantastic for me, as it's super convenient. Looking forward to getting a bit more active here shortly as well...

Yep, and that's part of the reason I signed up here. I know there is a benchrest focused range pretty close to me, but I haven't had much luck yet getting in touch with anybody and I know it's members only. So I'm hoping to get in touch with some of the folks from the range via this forum.

New member from Sioux Falls saying hello

I always find it's a kind gesture to moderators for me to say hello when I sign up for a new forum. I'll probably lurk for a while to get used to the mood of the site, but figured a proper Greeting was still in order. The name is Hans, from Sioux Falls. I've been a collector and target...
