I have purchased a 30mm riflescope with a 42mm objective lens. The rifle I am mounting in on is a 308Win, 700 Remington with a heavy barrel. Currently I have 1" Leupold rings on a one piece base. Can anyone tell me what height Leupold 30mm rings to buy? Thank you for any recommendations. Indy

6mmBR Thanks for the responses. I see now I should have asked the question a little different. I am considering purchasing a Savage rifle chambered for 6mm Norma BR. If I understand correctly, because it's a new rifle the chamber will handle Lapua brass. Sorry for the beginner question. Indy

I am sure this question has been answered many times and I apologize for asking it. Is the a difference between the Remington version and the Norma version? If there is a difference, where can one buy brass? Indy
