    Left the range. Keith Christianson.

Great stories Dave and Dave. Keith was all of what you described as helping shooters out,. Me being one of them. we are all going to miss him,

Proposed new gun laws in Washington State

please don't move. Fight like you're one of the last three chimpanzee's trying to get on Noah's Ark , and it's starting to rain. This was borrowed but still applicable. I hope for all of you, and the rest of us, that you win this battle , and ultimately the war that could eliminate our...

    322

This is a great question. Is it because 133 shoots smaller consistently. or that 133 tunes better, or is more available than322. Or perhaps it is like a bad habit that most shooters cant quit. some shooters will bring 3 different powders to a match to shoot what they think will work the best...

    neck clearance

I would be hesitant to take advice from the likes of me, too. Haven't shot in a big match in quite a while. I'm still in awe of the guys who can shoot the teen agg. I'm sure they put in lots of practice. And that's just one of the reasons they can consistently shoot small. Pretty sure that...

    neck clearance

I wouldn't worry too much about shooting zero's. Not many shooters ever shoot one in a match, even in trigger pull conditions. In fact, not that many shooters shoot in the one's . Put some trigger time testing in , with different bushings and see what your rifle likes. I'm just a self...

6 PPC from 220 Russian Lapua

And on the same topic, you can deaden a federal primer if you soak it.

6 PPC from 220 Russian Lapua

You can pull the bullets and see if there is powder in the case. Another thing that might cause the primer not to ignite, is from oil in the case. Some primers are more sensitive to being killed by oil or water , depending on the brand of primer. Take a Q tip and dry out the bottom of the brass...

    6PPC Creedmoor

6ppc creedmore Chet I think it worked. Did you engrave that on all of your barrels this week ? Now that you know it works on a barrel,, I wonder what would happen if you engraved it on a tuner.

    Loos primer pockets

Jerry , be careful with those loose primer pockets. I pitted the boltface on my bolt with some loose primer pockets. It was probably my own fault for not using the right primer pocket tool. chuck em in the trash.

Nicks on top of the neck

It's only on one side of the case. I forgot to mention that it is for a 6ppc . I had some other brass that I bought from somebody else that did the same thing and it was hard to get rid of.

Nicks on top of the neck

I was blowing this brass out with about 26.7 gr. of 133. Lightly oiled the outside of the case for proper stretch. Case length was 1. 495 lightly chamfered inside and out. When I tried to reload for the second firing, these little nicks started cutting the bullet as it was being seated. The...

    An off topic question....

Heck you[re a benchrest shooter. Forget the cost factor and buy a little Bosch router with the variable speed. You'll soon find all kinds of projects to use it on. Before you know it, you could be making cutting board plaques for trophies. Or buy a variety pack of sandpaper and do some good...

Mike Bryant wins at Charlene's Meadow Match #2

Hay Tim? Exactly how many options are there, for a chest hair toupee? I can think of at least three ways to sport that look. One would be a wife beater tank top shirt with the hair sewn onto the shirt. Another could be the hair sewn onto the straps of your favorite set of suspenders, or I...

    any GOOD 6.5 bullets?

I have had decent results with nosler 120 hunting ballistic tips. this is out of a 6.5 x 47 Lapua, pencil barrel kreiger. And of course when you push larger than 3 shot groups out of a thin barrel, the groups get bigger.

    Rangefinder Recommendation

vortex 1000 The 1000 will be fine for archery. There might be faster ones at displaying yardages, but you have to learn how it works. you start loosing readings on an angus cow or low reflective target at about 5 to 600 yards, depending on the sunlight. In fog I can only get 11 yards...

    Lelan Kirk passed away

    Western Wayne results???

Wow!!!!! Those are incredible outstanding aggs. Most benchresters couldn't even shoot that standard of an agg, in a tunnel without a time limit. congratulations man

    Does it make a difference?

sure it all matters. but it seems to me that what matters the most is being able to stay in tune. I don't know how many times i have wondered how a benchrest rifle could shoot so bad on a sunday afternoon , when the wind picks up a little bit and the temperature jumps about 20 degrees . goodbye...
