What is the minimum spacing on center for benches on a .22 rimfire range?

I was at a .22 match over in Antelope Valley many years ago. One guy was shooting a 10/22 and his ejections were going down the front of a nicely built ladies low neckline blouse. Each and every time she would flinch and squeak. Some things a guy just can't forget.

    Noob from Indiana

Start with Lapua brass and a single stage press. If you don't like the run-out/concentricity try a Lee Collet Die for neck sizing and follow the instructions. You have a lot of stuff listed for brass prep. If you start with Lapua brass most of if will not be needed. Some makes of brass will...

    Trimming and Deburring?!!

I am using a Wilson case trimmer and a Wilson case mouth 30 degree deburring tool. There seems to be a ridge left inside the case neck after deburring. Reversing the direction of the deburring tool does not remove the ridge. The cutting tool may be rolling up this ridge. I have not found a...

    Neck clearence?

The caliper check is used to insure I am reading the micrometer correctly. Sometimes my eyes don't pick up all those little lines and I need to check and double check, plus I could be dyslexic or the cataract is catching up on me. Thanks for your concern.

    Neck clearence?

My loaded rounds measure a consistent .2715 for my barrel chambered in 6x47 Lapua. (I am using a 1" micrometer and checking it with a digital Mitutoyo caliper) The Bartlein barrel has a .273 neck diameter; therefore I have .0015 total clearance Fired case necks measure .2725. Berger 87 VLDH...

how tall is a bench ?
