    Sorry to report my friend Chet Whitebread passed away September 12, 2023. Services today 2 to 4 pm at Overland Park funeral chapel. He was an excellent benchrest shooter and machinist. I will miss him greatly.

    Bullet making?

    I also get lead from Crown Metal Company. For 30 cal I use 0.250 diameter with 0.5% antimony. David Detsch at 814 834 3035 made my very good dies.

    Manatee

    I hoped there would be a match this year and planned to go. I had some shooters tell me they didn't like the lower range and felt the main range was nicer. Doesn't matter to me. I just like to shoot.

    Core seating punch for J4 jackets?

    I have been using punches 0.2100 and 0.2105 for the lot of J4's I have to make 68grain flat base bullets on 0.825 jackets. I haven't made bullets on 0.790 jackets for quite awhile as I use 0.825 jackets to make 66 grain boat tails.

    Larry Kuse shoots world record

    My good friend Larry Kuse shot 250-25X at Council Bluffs 9/16/2012 in VFS 100 yards. He just got a letter stating that his 17 w/o is a new world record. Couldn't be more proud of him.
