    plate for Redding press

Thanks for the pictures. I actually went with the idea you had posted about the bench blocks. I'm going to have one set mounted to my bench at home and one set mounted to a piece of aluminum that I can C-clamp to the bench at the range.

    plate for Redding press

Thanks for the responses guys. I really like the idea of the plate/ bench blocks on the bench-talk website. I think if it had a piece that tied the two bench blocks together in the back it would work well for reloading at the range. You could C-clamp the bench blocks to the bench, and their...

    plate for Redding press

Hi guys. I got a Redding Big Boss 2 for Christmas. I'd like to be able to use this press at the range. I was thinking about making a steel or aluminum plate that I could bolt it to, and then clamp the plate to the table. Please send pictures of your range setup or give me your suggestions on...

confused about cleaing method in Tony Boyer's Book of Rifle Accuracy

Tim, So you're saying to put the accelerator on a patch or brush that is already soaked with patchout, correct? This would make what I read in the book make sense.

confused about cleaing method in Tony Boyer's Book of Rifle Accuracy

Hi guys. Hoping someone can help me understand Tony's cleaning method. In his book, he says "I run two 1-3/4" patches through the bore soaked with WIPE-OUT wih ACCELERATOR. After I run the wet patches through, I soak the nylon brush with WIPE-OUT with ACCELERATOR and do enough strokes with...

    Wind Flags

Thanks for the input guys. I spoke with Dave Halblom today and have decide to go with his flags. I'm thinking green and orange single vane with pink sail tails. What do you think about this color combination? I haven't decided if I want daisies - what would you guys recommend? Not sure if it...

    Wind Flags

I'm wanting to purchase some wind flags for shooting score at 100, 200, & 300 yds, and have about 20 questions. How many flags should I use at these yardages? Do you set them up differently for different yardages? I'm looking at the Graham flags. Are the XL vanes flags big enough to see...

    what dies Cooper 6mm BR?

A loaded round measures 0.266". That's why we chose the 0.264" bushing. It's a Wilson bushing, and the number side is up. After talking to Redding, I've decided to order a standard (non bushing type) full length die. I think my chamber is too large to use a bushing die with the brass I'm using.

    what dies Cooper 6mm BR?

The brass is unturned Lapua. Would a Redding type S die be capable of sizing the entire neck? Maybe the Wilson die only sizing a portion of the neck is the issue (along with the large factory chamber).
