Am I understanding the unlimited class rest rule right? It says no adjustments under the rest and must have sandbags front and rear. would this rest be legal?

I only did it one time. The target board was 6 ft high and 5 ft wide. The 5 shot group was just about that big. Not my idea of fun.

Set up right I can get to 400 yds with 50 yard 0 with my unertls. This is with a Rem 40X in 22RF.

I agree with you PedroS. Shooting off a bipod is a whole different disipline than shooting off a one piece rest. A bipod you try to load the same forward pressure every time. One piece rest I let the bungee cords do the loading. Wayne

I just read the SAAMI specs for 22 Match & 22 Sporting. I had never checked this before. Looks like the only difference is at the front of the case. Most match chambers will be a little shorter and tighter. They say nothing about leade angle. Therein lie a lot of secrets. Wayne

I'm pretty sure all 40X 22 caliber rifles have match chambers. What I don't know are the dimensions or if they were ever changed. I am assuming the custom shop rifles were the same as the run of the mill target rifles. Although the custom shop barrels were probably lapped. Wayne
