I've found sizing with a mandrel produces the most consistent results with least aggro for the calibers I use, which I why I favor the Lee Collet die.

Swap ogive for radius & it seems logical.

Was a time when the recommendation was a flat face and a radius around ¼ pin diameter, but I recall that design was to still hit the primer anvil while compensating for the tolerances in manufacture.

Haven't shot it in the PPC, but in the 6BR with 105-108 grainers it performed virtually identically to Varget.

In my part of the world, that type of foam sucks up moisture and rusts cold guns placed in it.

Pete, I shoot British match rifle (unaltered .308 Winchester in a 2½ kilogram barrel at 1000, 1100 & 1200 yards). You get some ranges where the wind gets particularly nasty & you'll see 25 MOA +- on the scope either side, depending on the day. Now there aren't a whole lot of scopes that will...

The fourth case from the left has damage that could be consistent with something in the chamber & all of them suggest brisk loads at the least or oversized cases. I'd be looking for operator error first.
