I got beat up today by a 7mm Mag

I got beat up today by a 7mm Mag

Jackie, I recall maybe 50 or so years back, a guy came down to our range just back from Ceylon (that's how long ago it was). Seems his XYZ scope had fogged up and he missed his leopard. His splinter fore end BRNO .375 Holland was now fitted with a 2½ power Leupold & off his elbows and a...

I would have thought that a custom benchrest action would be adequately machined & not require remedial work.

    Disposing of Live Primers

My father & a bunch of his mates were deer shooting. Come lunch, somebody pulled out a rimfire & set some 12 gauge rounds on a fence at a challenging distance. The guy who just missed the primer wore the scar from it above his left eye forever.

    Silly Puddy

I'm a fan of Styrofoam - different density for different jobs & it's easy to get out of even blind magazine wells. A quick cleanup here & there with a parallel Dremel burr & she's neat as.

    Disposing of Live Primers

Was it Hatcher claimed a woman was killed when the primer of a live round exited a furnace when she had the door open?

    Disposing of Live Primers

Here in Australia, there are State authorities who dispose of unwanted explosive & munitions - we found these in Uncle George's garage when he passed on.

    Body Die with Lee Collet

Don't. If ever something needs to be kept away from gritty primer residue, it's the mandrel on a collet die. That's the very reason I opted to deprime all my cases separately.

    An off topic question....

Bill, You missed the most important point - make the pusher handles really long so you will keep you hand out of the blade. John
