    Problem Post Cataract Surgery

I suspect that you & your specialists are just concentrating on different elements of the same situation & further, that you perhaps misremember how it was before the operation. If you do a search, you'll find a consensus that a macular edema causes double vision issues, as you have confirmed...

No argument with that, but I was intrigued that nobody gave any comment (positive or negative) on the build.

Incipient Case Shoulder Separation Viewed from Inside?

At the body/shoulder junction there was a tiny "roll" or bulge of brass that looked like those cosmetic strips that they used to put between panels...

    Is this sport expensive?

I shot bench here in Australia back in the late sixties when both equipment & technique was in its infancy. What keeps me from considering it now is not the initial equipment costs, but the expense needed in both time and ammunition needed to come up to speed with 21st century performance levels.

How's this for a real name

Why would you use your real name? Was watching the golf earlier & wondered why his parents did this to him: http://www.pgatour.com/players/player.24140.sean-o-hair.html

    taper of barrel

It would depend marginally on how much your gunsmith cleaned up the breech end of the barrel, but otherwise, you could work it out mathematically from the barrel makers' spec sheet for those barrel types.
