Well, I talked to BAT last night. Short answer..(ya right...from me!!:D) There is an issue when swithching bolts between early build actions and more current actions. From what I gatherd, you can not put an older bolt in a newer action....there isn't enough clearance in the action when that...

Jeff, Define "throated to long" for me. In my WSM the only thing below the neck/sholder juncture is the boattail on the Berger VLD. I think my OAL is around 3.12.

Go to your local gun store, pick up a new Savage in either 6 br or 6.5-284 and you are done......(for now!!!). I see a lot of stock Savage BR and F class guns win 1K relays. And you are in for as low as a grand. I would go for the 6 br.....STILL MIGHT!!!!!!!!

Whycome I can't find any 2010 YTD stats on the IBS 1K SOY points on the IBS website. They used to update once a month the last few years. Just wondering how everyone is doing this year. Tod
