    A Robinette 30BR chamber I believe has a length of 1.520". Trim length is generally 1.500". If your brass is 1.532" in a Robinette chamber, you've got a problem. Second it's possible that it was chambered for bullets made on 1" jackets, instead of .925". Try something in the 117-125 grain...

    carbide inserts

    I'd recommend positive rake inserts. I have had the best luck with Sandvik *CMT inserts. TCMT, DCMT, or CCMT. I find the UM chipbreaker works best, but it's difficult to take a deep enough cut to make them effective without some sort of workpiece support.

    Fantastic shooting guys. Congratulations to John, Ricky, and Wayne. I hear K. L. Miller also tied the 300yd Hunter class record. I'm glad to see the barrels are working well for you. I wish I could have been out there shooting this year.
