    Warren Page's SS&D rifle That's what you've got! In The Accurate Rifle pg 62, half-way down, Warren describes his rifle, giving the serial# as 164, which dates from Dewey's SS&D's days, and it's chambered for the 2221/2. You've got a piece of history, truly.

    Firing pin strikes the edge? of the hole

    I finally disassembled the Mauser bolt (Yes, this is BR, but one from the 1950's). The firing pin is polished brightly over 100-120 degrees it's last 2mm, still with tooling marks the rest of its circumference. I KNOW what I've seen on the target, but what would one expect from such a condition...
