If you own one and are comfortable sharing:

Serial number or approximate range
Bolt/port configuration
Barrel/action/trigger/stock/tuner/scope
Gunsmith or builder
Any known history
Photos
Favorite thing about it
Any quirks or lessons learned

Share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. I’m mainly trying to preserve the history and learn from owners.

I shot my first ARA UL with a borrowed Swindlehurst a month ago and have been enamored with them ever since. As they become more and more rare, I want to preserve some of the history of the easiest loading and smoothest action I have yet to shoot!

I would also like to know the if the action screws are 5 1/4 inch apart?

Jim I have five of them and the early 2 digit serial number the hole spacing was different than the other four.
I guess the first owner may have wanted it different because it would not line up in a stock that a Swindlehurst in it.

When you measure hole spacing where do you measure from? Center to center? Outside to outside?

Did Calfree ever use the Swindlehurst actions For his custom builds?
Or was there a reason that he didn’t use them, just wondering 🤔
As, l have a Right Bolt Left Feed action and glued into a McMillan Edge stock and Lilja barrel
Will need to drag it out of the safe to get the Serial number

Of all of the rifles that I built, only one was a Swindlehurst. My friend Don Stith bought the action, from someone, it was (new) old stock. Don sent me the action/barrel and stock, to make a rifle from. However, the barrel that he sent was ,900 straight taper. I called him and told him he sent the wrong barrel. He said, I figured you'd just make a bushing for the receiver. He was a great friend, so I said, for you I will. LOL When completed and after some tuning the rifle shot exceptionally well. My friend wanted to shoot it because he saw how easy it loaded, and there was 10 rounds of Tenex left in the box. The 10 shot group was about the size of a .24 caliber hole! It was a 5 groove Broughton barrel. Not sure where the rifle ended up,but it was a good one.
