Left handed Don Stith BR Stock For a CZ 452 Left handed Don Stith BR Stock For a CZ 452 This stock was built by Don Stith to make my CZ a legal BR rifle for RBA and IR 50-50 light sporter class competition. Final fitting, including cutting the bolt handle channel and the magazine well as well as bedding were all done professionally by Russ Haydon. The wood is Sassafras and Redwood. I finished it myself with Minwax Spar varnish. As is, it is a 100% drop in, ready to use light sporter BR stock. Drop your CZ 452 barreled action into it and it can easily make 7.5 lb. class with any decent scope. I have used both a Weaver T-6 and a Nikon 6-18X40 Buckmaster with this stock on my CZ 452. If The price seems high compared to the prices on the Don Stith site, consider the cost of professional fitting and bedding. Then call Don Stith for his current prices, which are more than a bit higher than those shown on his site. His stocks, while excellent are shipped unfinished, without a bolt channel or magazine well. I have estimated $25 shipping. I will drop the price that much for an FTF sale. A fellow member asked a few questions about the stock. Here are the answers: 1. Attached is a link to the Don Stith site and the page describing the sporter class stock. 2. The stock width is 2 1/4", as is maximum for "Sporter class" in IR 50-50, RBA and (I believe but cannot seem to confirm) USBR competition. 3. I am not experienced enough to know pillar bedding when I see it. I never do any precision work like that myself, but instead I rely on professionals. As I stated in my ad, Russ Haydon of Russ Haydon Shooter Supply, who also built my BAT action 222 Remington Light Varmint Class centerfire rifle did the final fitting and bedding on the CZ stock. 4. I can say the barrel is completely free floated. You can slide two dollar bills together, all the way down the barrel, between the barrel and the stock, with no resistance. 5. Because I never tightened the action screws beyond 20 inch pounds, the stock has not been crushed, though there are the usual handling marks from benchrest shooting, none of which would likely show in pictures. http://www.donstith.com/sporter_class.html Tacoma $225.00 USD
