SAVAGE 110E W/ SCOPE & SLING 7MM MAG - VERY NICE | *SAVAGE MODEL 110E BOLT-ACTION RIFLE W/SCOPE 7MM REM MAG* Up for sale is an older model Savage Model 110E Bolt-Action Rifle in beautiful condition. This wood stock on this riflle has a beautiful finish on it, the finish on the metal is in excellent condition, it has a very nice leather sling and also comes with a scope already mounted on it. The action seems to function fine on this rifle, the trigger feels pretty crisp and the rifle appears to have been very well taken care of through the years and is ready to go. I am not sure of the exact capacity of this rifle as I had no 7mm Mag ammo to load it with but I would say it is 4 or 5 + 1 but I cannot swear to this. The butt plate has some old camo paint on it but seems like it could be removed fairly easy. I must say this rifle has the most beautiful wooden stock I have ever seen on an older model Savage rifle. The rifle is a glue-in and set in a black McMillan Benchrest stock. The action is fitted with a 2oz Remington or Hart trigger. The custom scope base and Bushnell rings are included. This is a very nice starter rifle. Simply mount a scope and shoot. All gunsmithing work was done by James Coffey of Boone, N.C. This rifle has been test-fired only. This rifle features a coned and fluted bolt, and a 26" James Calhoon Pac-Nor Match barrel. Chambering and fitting the barrel was done by James Calhoon himself. The rifle has a 2-4oz Remington trigger and is set in a McMillan Hunter-class black graphite stock with a 2.25" forend and metal buttplate. The stock was fitted to the rifle by James Coffee of Boone, NC. The 19-223 Calhoon is essentially just a .223 necked down to 19 caliber. This lends to an extremely fast round with certain loads breaking 4000 ft/s.
