Check, Money Order
I just finished up a run of 6 PPC powder measures. I made two more than what I had ordered. The measures are based on the Jerry Hensler Type measure insert that Jerry used to make years ago. It throws approximately from 26 to 31.3 grains of 133 depending upon lot density of the powder. The measure uses a Mitutoyo micrometer head with .250“ spindle x .500” travel for a volume adjustment of the measure. The measure handle can be reversed if you want the handle on the opposite side by moving the 3/32” stop pin to the other side and switching everything around. These two measures are serial numbered 16 and 22. The #16 measure has been polished somewhat on a buffing wheel. The #22 finish is as turned with 320 grit finish. One turn of the micrometer head is worth close to .3 grain. Priced at $350 plus $18 USPS priority mail shipping and Insurance. The measures come with one 8” drop tube and one Mec powder bottle. Sinclairs sells drop tubes to fit which are the B series drop tubes which fit the original Culver, Sinclair or RFD measures. Mec bottles can be found at any sporting goods store in the shotgun reloading area. If you’re tired of using a funnel when pouring your powder back in the jug, the Mec bottle will pour directly back into the jug. If you are interested in a measure like one of these, check with me at a match this summer. I'll make another run of them if there is enough interest.
