    Very informative. New range operators will have no problems with their benches, if they folloe Bill's suggestions in this aticle.

    Good artical on benchrests. there are some very nice ideas out there as to what makes a good rest for shooting

    PDF file takes too long to download for dial up users. Left out one viable bench design: Dig 3 or 4 holes down below frost line; place treated posts in holes; level/square poles and add redi-mix cement to holes - add water where needed; fill in holes; add top to poles after cement is set.
