Just thought I would post a few of pictures of a rail from my last run since I am now offering a 'V' Block configuration in the integrated rail tops, And if anyone is interested "Benchrite" is now making Delrin replacement slide pins for the rails now with an installation tool if anyone needs to replace the old ones on your rail, Thanks...J
Not sure they have it up on their site yet: benchrite.com

Hi again Jay. would you please post a pic of the underside of the V block. I am looking for the channels milled for the slide pins. Are they precision milled? what prevents play side to side? Are the pins aluminum?

It seems in this case the "pins" are delrin, or similar, and they slide in a "V" doodad on the underside of the top. Precision milled or not, the top slides in the exact same way from shot to shot.

Beautiful work Jay. I'd guess most of your new orders are for integral blocks?

Hi,
I picked up some replacement pins and installation tool from Steve at the Hog Roast.
You tap out the old ones with a flat faced punch and then using the installation tool tap in the new pins.
They bottom out when you install the new ones. Took all of 5 minutes and the rail gun is good to go.
Thanks Steve for bringing them to the match!
