Bought some Govt. LSA (Lubricant, Small Arms). Goes back to Nam--they used it mostly on M-60s. Has teflon. So do a few better industrial lubes. Heard only once about "teflon residue" getting gummy. Teflon has a flash point of about 600F. Inside the bolt carrier of a DI AR the lubes get vaporized after awhile. Can anyone steer me to the correct advice on the use of teflon-additive oils?

I answered my own question. Just by chance I got to talk to a top-shelf engineer at a lubrication manufacturing company. Said "there have been problems with Teflon." I should have thought it out: Teflon has a flash point around 600F. Most high-end oils have a flash point aroung 450F. Since the oil is constantly vaporizing inside an AR bolt carrier---when the oil is gone the teflon is left and teflon is a SOLID, powdered lubricant.
