For sporter rifle shooting? I need a better front rest and top for sporter weight hunting rifles. Got a favorite? What say you?

Any quality front rest will do for a hunting rifle. You just need to make sure you get a front bag that fits your stock size and shape. I like the coax type front rest myself, but i like the quick movement it allows. I think its a real advantage for score shooting. With that said i think i may go back to a standard hart or sinclair front rest for group shooting. Just a personal thing, no real facts or situations to back this idea up with. I just think a standard front rest would be best when shooting groups for me. Lee

If you're shooting off a bench, like sighting in or load development, consider putting a 3" wide 1/2" thick sheet of delrin on the forearm and using your normal benchrest front rest.

Whatever you do, take off the sling swivels. They get in the way.

I agree with Butch's coax rest. He is a stand up guy.
If however you want to twiddle with the windage top contact greenlaw. Best for the money there.
