Most of you guys know Ken Howell. Ken wrote the book "Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges". Ken has not asked for help but needs it. He is in very bad shape in an Arizona hospital. We have a fund raising raffle going on the 24hr Campfire forum. One of our BR.Com members, writer, and great shooter, Jim Carmichel, has offered his personal copy of Ken's book to be used in the raffle. The only one offered at this time on Amazon is priced at $549. For pure money reason's this one should be worth much more as Carmichel will pen a note on his letterhead to go with the book. Shooting people have always helped their own, please help Ken. A link is below.

Butch, thanks for spearheading this effort.

A copy of Mr. Howell's 'Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges', previously owned by Mr. Carmichel and with a note from him to that effect, would be a great addition to any riflemans library and a true keepsake.

Good shootin'. -Al

Is there a way to get the address to send donations to without being registered on that other forum?

I will PM the address for those that want to help. It is $20 per ticket. When you enclse your funds, enclose a piece of paper the size of a $20 with your contact on it. March 15 is the last day and Ken himself will draw on the 18th. I don't want to post the address, but will send it to you on a PM.
Thanks Butch
