Would a heavy recoil lug such as a Badger Ordnance or Holland be any benefit on a SA Rem 700 6.5x47Lapua?

The main benefit of an aftermarket lug is that they are flatter than the Remington lug. It's quicker and easier to replace the Remington lug with an aftermarket lug than it is to surface grind the Remington lug. I see no particular advantage to the lug being thicker, but it's also one of those things that it can't hurt.
