Hya Guys,
I have looked through a number of scopes over the years from £100 jobs to the £1,500, brands like Tasco, Nikon, Nightforce, Weaver and Schmitt & Bender just to name a few. The scope I have had a for the last couple of years is the Nikko Stirling 10x50x60 and it has been a great scope and even the new version is a great scope, but with the new build I am currently doing I decided to look around at what on the market. I had read what Carl had written in Target Shooter and also What Alan had written on here about Sightron but had never seen one.
After contacting AIM Field Sports they sent me down the Series II 36x42 mil dot. When I took it out of the box my first impressions is wow this is dinky little scope, but looking through it I was amazed at the very fine crosshair it has as it is the finest one I have ever seen on a scope. The power of the light that it lets through is very impressive, but the telling is when I put it in front of our benchrest targets. All I can say is that for the first time I can see the target clearly, it is amazing scope that has only been on the market for the last two years and is under sold as these scopes should be flying off the shelf. What I have also done is ordered an optical booster which increases the magnification by three times, this again was cover by Carl in the magazine. The optical booster is made and sold by Bulzeyepro.com and will screw onto the scope and as Carl has said you donít lose anything from the scope. Another thing about the scope is that it only weighs in at 17oz and which is great for a 10 Ĺ lb rifle.

If you live in the UK then you can see the scope and the others they have produce at the British Shooting Show at Newark at the end of the month (see Target Shooter Magazine for details). The price is fantastic at £379 and I as others would put this on par with Leopard and Nightforce with the optics, but donít take my word for it have a look at one for yourself.
