I have just gotten a Reminton 700 SPS in 204 Ruger and woukd like to get a stock and the guns listed are ADL and BDL and I don't know what the difference is or which I have. I sure someone here can help.:confused:

adl unloads from the action and bdl unloads from a floor plate

hingded floor plate would be a Bdl and if it is just a triggergaurd its a Adl

all SPS's ive seen were BDL's.

SPS comes in both flavors...

2 action screws=BDL
3 action screws=ADL

A 700 is a 700, only differences are the action length, LH or RH and bottom metal. They don't make a different receiver for the various versions. VLS, XCR, SPS, AWR etc are new designations for the original hinged-floorplate BDL.
