By the most recent tally, if everyone shows up, we will have a total of 80 bodies and 93 guns for the four day event - compared to the most recent deacde, not a bad [total guns] turn-out. For those within driving distance, and sitting on the fence, this event will be worth attending: Mike Bigelow, Ronnie Berg and David Halblom have the range up to specs and looking great! :) Twenty-five covered concrete benches, plenty of green grass, loading area, and both breakfast and lunch catered each morning and noon, Monday through Friday, by Fairway deli - good grub, at affordable prices! :)

For those who only care to shoot the Hunter Rifle or, Varmint Hunter class(es), this will be an opportunity to compete against many of the diciplines best. Ditto for those who don't care to shoot the 6x classes, but have toyed with the idea of attending a Varmint for Score event - many TOP shooters will attend: this is a GREAT opportunity to see the best shoters and the best equipment, and to compare yourself and your gear on equal footing - with the chance to become a National Champion!

And, then, there are the generous sponsers, who have contributed prizes - in no particular order: Borden Accuracy; Lilja Precision Rifle Barrels; PacNor Barreling. Inc.; Krieger Barrels; Rock Creek Barrels; Doring Corp. (Jim Carstensen); Sinclair, Intn'l; Randy Perkowski; L.E. Wilson, Inc.; Kelbly's, Inc.; Holland's Shooter's Supply. Inc.; JGS Precision Mfg.; B.A.T. Machine, Inc.; Dave Manson Precision reamers; Stiller Precision Firearms; Midway USA Berger Bullets; BIB Bullets; Sierra Bullets; Night Bullets; Redding Reloading Equipment; Bruno's Shooter Supply; Russ Haydon's Shooter's Supply; Mike's Custom (Mike Bigelow); Brownell's, Inc.; PPG (Dave Kiff); McMIllan Fiberglass Stocks ! Sports fans, there are some nice prizes headed to the lucky ones!

In the current economy, turnig ones back would be all too easy - Please support these generous sponsers, who, continue to encourage participation in benchrest events!

Sept. 1,2,3, and 4 are not that far off! You owe it to yourself to attend! And, don't forget the Two Gun money shoot (Highest 6x Grand, plus HIghest VfS Grand Agg.), which will be administered by Al Nyhus - there should be about 38 participants in this side-show event! ;) Someone could walk away with some spendin' money - real DINARO! Hope to see ya there! Wish I could be there, my best to you all and don't beat up on the Maine guys too bad. Also, 1K of your .30 10 ogive best to Pete to bring East. Hope you do well!!
