I have not been able to find 50 round plastic ammo boxes for 6mm norma br. shells. I like the boxes that have "hinged" tops. They need to close with loaded 105 grain Berger VLD bullets and have the empty case necks visable enough to pull them out with your fingers.

One of you guys should be able to help me out. :)

I use them for my 30BRs and have no issues

Put the fired cases upside down. The rim is easier to grasp than the neck.

Works for BR or PPC etc, been using them for years. Works fine for loaded rounds even with long VLD bullets but you need to put a little 1/2" foam in top to keep empty cases in their respective spots when turned upside down.

the link to j and j products above has a real nice foam lined cartridge box that holds 175 shells. it protects the bullet tips and they dont rattle around. if going preloaded it is just the ticket.

The boxes you are looking for are made by MTM (Bill and Al Minneman). The part number is RS-S50 for the PPC and BR.

I tried several and found them to be too brittle compared to MTM's products. They crack and break if subjected to severe shocks. I have had 4 if the J&J boxes and liked them till one cracked and a few months later another had corner break off. I have probably had 50 MTM (actually more) and never had one crack. The remaining two J&J cases now decorate a shelf in my basement somewhere.

Dick, I'm like you. I've got big ones with handles on them like suitcases and small ones that clip to your belt and many in between.

They have a broad line of shooters products too. I don't mind tooting their horn because Bill (the founder) and Al (the son and son=current CEO) have been benchrest shooters for many years. They know the market and make good stuff. http://www.mtmcase-gard.com/
