Salem will be hosting our first IR50/50 3-Gun and Unlimited SOTY matches of the year this Sunday. Sign in starts around 8:30 and the 3-Gun match starts at 10am. Lunch will be served between the 3-Gun and Unlimited matches and soda and water will be provided all day. I'll post the weather report when it gets closer to match day.

We shot our first Tue. evening match last night in some of the worst conditions I've ever seen, anywhere. When I got to the range, the temp. was 88 degrees, and by the time we finished it was 55. The cold front brought along winds gusting to 40mph from every direction possible with the conditions on target 1 being the worst by far. Congrats to Paul Bendix for making the 450 mile round trip for an evening match and winning that first target with a nice 236-9X. Second place was a 228-5X:eek: Complete results will be up on the IR50/50 website....someday.

Congrats to Paul ... Looks like Salem is starting out to be a challenge this year.

I'll be there Sunday. Looking forward to it.

I only won the first target because you were testing Ammo and shooting your sporter. The conditions were as bad as when Holbrook had their first match and AL Hadfield was the only one to shoot above 240 and he did it on all three targets.
Todd won the second target with Pete in second place. Todd also took the third target with a 250 with a high X count in still very challenging conditions.
The rain held off until the match was over. I was home by Midnight. I will see you a few times before I head to Maine for the summer.
Mike, I won't see you in Salem this Sunday. I am running an Antique Car Tour.
