The rationale behind the Second Amendment is to provide an armed electorate as a defense against a tyrannical government.

The first tyranny of government is to disarm the electorate.

The only reason the government would want your guns is to control everything you do and claim ownership over everything you have. But never fear Obama is here and you can count on him to promote Capitalism and sustain our Democracy. If you believe that, I have a bridge for sale.
