CH3 Reticle

I'm considering a Nightforce 12-42x with a CH3 reticle and was wondering if anyone has used this and how they feel about the extra small dot. I'm planning on this for a new 600/1000 yard gun.

I'm going to be using a CH2 reticle on my Nightforce 12-42X for 600yd competition. Works great at my 600yd practice range so it should be okay in competition.

I've been shooting the CH-3 in my 12x42 NXS for a while now, and love the reticle.......It very precise..The only problem I've found is that late in the day in very low light condition, the fine crosshairs become very hard to see...This is where the lighted dot really shows out for me..

That dot is way to small for me. Remember that the dimensions shown in the spec literature are at 22x so halve those dimensions for the scope at 42x.
