For those of you that shoot in Auora and enjoy going up there you might contact Gordon and let him know that you plan on shooting there this year. He is seriously considering closing the range and not conducting matches this year:(. I committed to him that I would be attending most of the matches this year assuming the same basic schedule as we have had in years pastů http://www.missouribenchrest.com/

There is a meeting planned between Gordon and concerned shooters that love that range, several folks from Memphis travel up there for several matches a year.
At least 2 are going to the meeting. I am working or I would be going as well.
It will be the first 1000 yd event I shoot at. I have visited Gordons range and met him, and was welcomed like I had been knowing him all my life.
Please lets support this range. This is privately owned and operated.
I sincerely hope the meeting ends up with a schedule for 2008.

The pictures show a beautiful range. Just sorry it's so far from home.

We need to support our local ranges or they will disapear. Don

The range is a little far for me. However, I do go to their State Match every year. And, last year Lee Fisher finally made it to a State Match.:D
puts a lot of time and effort into the club and
is very friendly to every one, and Lisa works hard to feed the shooters. I hope they can keep having the matches. Thank you Gordon & Lisa for all your efforts, Gerry Nordmann

Mike, looks like 6 1/2 hrs. Very similar from Memphis, TN. I think it is 5 hrs plus.
